On this beautiful, sunny, crisp Fall day, we went on a little photography adventure at the
preserved home and studio of renowned painter Gari Melchers. Will enjoyed exploring
the grounds, picking up sticks, rocks, and leaves. Of course, he was not the least bit
interested in sitting or posing for me, or looking at the camera for that matter. It was the
perfect setting, and couldn't have been more beautiful. I cannot even imagine what this
place would look like in the spring. I think there may be another visit in our future once
this Winter passes. We enjoyed strolling slowly at Will's pace, and there was even a friendly
little mother and son race. Yes, I realize that most of the photos are of him walking
in the opposite direction, but it was just that kind of day. There was so much to see and
he couldn't wait to see what was next. I just love his young, innocent curiosity!
